Software602, Inc. announced today the release of the new, updated version of 602LAN SUITE Content Filter. This new update of the easy-to-install and manage proxy server with integrated content filter uses the latest PureSight active recognition engine to control Internet access.

• Updated the 602LAN SUITE Content Filter engine based on the latest PureSight 3.5 SDK.
• Greatly enhanced the speed of the 602LAN SUITE Content Filter due to optimization of the internal PureSight engine.
• Compressed the 602LAN SUITE Content Filter internal database from 170MB to less than 5MB.
• Fixed a proxy authentication error that occurred when a user password was changed.
