Use 602LAN SUITE to audit e-mail and fax communication on your network for compliance

602LAN SUITE’s statistics file contains information that can help you track messages, monitor employee e-mail usage, and more. The statistics file is a simple comma separated value text file that can be opened with any spreadsheet application. 602LAN SUITE automatically prunes entries in this file after it reaches the size defined in the configuration, meaning new entries automatically overwrite old entries.

Define the statistics log file size

602LAN SUITE will automatically remove old entries in the statistics file after it has reached the size specified in the configuration. You can change the maximum file size by doing the following:

  1. In 602LAN SUITE, click Settings, then Advanced Configuration.
  2. Click the Logs tab.
  3. In the Maximum size of statistics log file in kB field, enter the value maximum file size
value of your choosing (the maximum is 999999).
  4. Click Save to save your settings.

Statistics file size

NOTE: Your settings will take effect immediately. If you choose a file size smaller than the current statistics file size, it will not be pruned until an e-mail/fax is sent or received in 602LAN SUITE.

Location of the statistics log file

The statistics log file is located in the installation folder of 602LAN SUITE and is named lansuite.csv. By default this is C:\Program Files\Software602\602LAN SUITE. See the screenshot below.
