602Pro LAN SUITE Anti-virus Edition may be purchased from our online store. If you have already purchased 602Pro LAN SUITE 2002 or 2003, you may purchase an upgrade to 602Pro LAN SUITE Anti-virus Edition at a discount via our Upgrade Manager. Once you have registered the Anti-virus Edition, you will need to activate the scanning capabilities in the LAN SUITE configuration. To do this:

1. Open 602Pro LAN SUITE.
2. Click Settings then Advanced Configuration.
3. Click the Anti-virus tab and click the Check delivered messages using LAN SUITE anti-virus checkbox.
4. Click Save.

Once 602Pro LAN SUITE Anti-virus Edition has been enabled on your server, it’s a good idea to check for updates. Purchasing 602Pro LAN SUITE Anti-virus Edition entitles you to one year of free virus database upgrades.

1. Open 602Pro LAN SUITE.
2. Click Settings then Advanced Configuration.
3. Click the Anti-virus tab and then click the Updating tab at the bottom of the window.
4. Click the Update Now button.

Your virus definitions will begin to update. For easy administration, click the checkbox next to Enable automatic Anti-virus Updates every 24 hours. This will check our update site every 24 hours to ensure that your anti-virus database is up-to-date.

602Pro LAN SUITE 2003 and AVG

AVG Anti-virus is still supported in 602Pro LAN SUITE 2003. You must enable AVG in your LAN SUITE configuration for it to scan your incoming e-mail:

1. Open 602Pro LAN SUITE.
2. Click Settings then Advanced Configuration.
3. Click the Anti-virus tab, then click the AVG tab at the bottom of the page.
4. Click the Check delivered messages using AVG anti-virus and then click Save.

NOTE: Grisoft has recently changed their policy regarding the use of the free version of AVG Anti-virus. According to their licensing page, you may not run the free version of AVG on any computer in a networked environment. If you would like to use AVG with 602Pro LAN SUITE, you must purchase a license from Grisoft.
