Set a mailbox size limit to preserve your server’s hard disk space
Be in complete control of your storage needs without the risk of losing any important messages. 602Pro LAN SUITE contains a powerful set of tools to control your users’ mailbox size to manageable levels and at the same time queue all faxes and POP3 e-mail for a pre-set time.
To define a mailbox limit for a 602Pro LAN SUITE user, follow these directions:
- Open 602Pro LAN SUITE.
- Click Settings then Advanced Configuration.
- Click the Users tab.
- Click the account you wish to edit and click Properties.
- Adjust the Mailbox size limit and click OK (1MB-9999MB is supported).

Define the time POP3 e-mail and Faxes will be queued
All SMTP incoming e-mail will be refused by 602Pro LAN SUITE if a user mailbox reaches the size limit. The sender is automatically notified so they can resend the message later. The mailbox user is notified as well that the mailbox has exceeded the size limit. All collected POP3 e-mail and faxes will be temporary held until the user cleans the mailbox and then the message will be delivered. By default, LAN SUITE will hold messages for 365 days. To change this, do the following:
- Open 602Pro LAN SUITE.
- Click Settings then Advanced Configuration.
- Click the Users tab.
- Adjust the Delete messages waiting for delivery to full mailboxes after X days to your liking and click OK (1-9999 days is supported).

NOTE: Remember when you calculate the hard drive size needed for your messages that you also calculate the space needed to temporary hold POP3 collected e-mail and faxes for users with full mailboxes.
