Use 602LAN SUITE to securely collect your Google Gmail e-mail
602LAN SUITE supports multiple methods of e-mail collection to facilitate easy integration with your network. Use 602LAN SUITE to collect POP3 e-mail and store it in a local account, or provide direct e-mail access to your clients.
Collection via 602LAN SUITE’s POP3 feature
To have 602LAN SUITE collect the Gmail e-mail and place it into a local account, do the following:
- Enable the option to allow POP3 access to your Gmail account by following the instructions provided by Google, here.
- In 602LAN SUITE, click Settings then Advanced Configuration.
- Click the POP3 tab, then the Add button to add a POP3 account.
- For POP3 server, enter pop.gmail.com:995, and click to add a checkmark to the Server requires secure connection (SSL) checkbox.
- Enter your full Gmail e-mail address in the Login name field and your Gmail password in the Password field.
- Select the 602LAN SUITE account you would like the messages to go to from the Received messages delivered to drop-down, click OK, then click Save to save your settings.
Now, 602LAN SUITE will collect e-mail from Gmail and deliver it directly to the account you selected!

Collection via a third party POP3 e-mail client
To collect the Gmail e-mail directly from a third party POP3 e-mail client, do this:
- In 602LAN SUITE, click Settings then Advanced Configuration.
- Click the Proxy tab, then the Mapped Links sub-tab.
- Enter the following information into the fields:Connection from client IP Address: 0.0.0.0
IP Mask: 0.0.0.0
To this computer IP: all
Port: 995
Map to Host Address: pop.gmail.com
Port: 995 - Click Add, then click Save to save your settings.
- You need to configure your e-mail client according to the instructions, here, with one exception: You will need to use the IP address of the 602LAN SUITE server, rather than “pop.gmail.com”.
