Software602 wins the Golden European Seal of E-Excellence

The European Multimedia Forum awarded Software602 the Golden European Seal of E-Excellence for its promotion of 602XML technology in the European market. This award is designed to honor companies that have succeeded in finding the synergy between technology and customer needs. The award was issued at the CeBIT Fair in Hannover, Germany.

European Seal of E-Excellence

European Seal of E-Excellence, organized under the auspices of European Commission research and development project Eureka, is aimed at identifying and honoring companies that are instrumental in real assertion of advanced technologies in the market. In previous years, companies such as Alcatel, Nokia and Strato were awarded. “At a moment when Europe is looking at its global competitive position, it is important to ask ourselves what the ingredients of success are. Is it really primarily our lack of investment in education and research? Or is it more fundamentally that we are too often oblivious about the necessity of marketing our innovation?”, said Phillipe Wacker, the Secretary General of European Multimedia Forum, “Our Seal Winners are very successful companies which understand the importance of producing for a market”.

Software602 is the first Czech company awarded the European Seal of E-Excellence. “We have never focused on technical gadgets, but rather try to deliver what our clients need, for a reasonable price. Success of our 602XML smart forms is based on this approach as well. It is an easily manageable tool that helps with everyday routines, such as purchase orders, reports and approvals. Of course, we are delighted that our activities are appreciated on an international level. However, it is even more important that our products are successful in real business and liberate thousands of employees from administrative chores,” said Pavel Nemrava, Sales Director at Software602.

The European Multimedia Forum is the main European association promoting the competitiveness of the converging ICT and digital media industries in the global market place (defined “Information Sector” by the OECD). It has more than 5,000 members - mostly ICT vendors and companies that rely on ICT (e.g. Banks). Its main objectives are to facilitate contacts and knowledge exchange, provide an international support network and encourage the expansion of European enterprises by enhancing their international visibility and their access to funding.
