Print2PDF Server Edition can be configured to distribute customized preferences and profiles to clients. A client can choose to use the printer from a shared printer (Add printer) or through a multi-user environment such as Terminal Services or Citrix Presentation Server (now known as XenApp). This makes it very simple to unify the PDF conversion settings your organization requires. Another benefit to this procedure is to eliminate user error by locking down your PDF creation process.

Print2PDF Server Edition and Print2PDF Conversion Server can be easily customized using Visual Basic Scripting (VBScript) to provide Adobe PDF conversion from Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Publisher). The integrated scripting engine allows anyone to quickly add custom logic into the PDF conversion process (e.g. mail merging, print comments, and more).

Print2PDF Server Edition can automatically merge print output from the same files names into one Adobe PDF file using the Folder2PDF watched folder application. This will allow you to define hot folders on your network accessible by your users that will provide automatic merging services.

Print2PDF and Print2PDF Server Edition can easily convert a Microsoft Word 2000/XP/2003 document into an Adobe PDF while preserving the table of contents and hyperlinks. The included Print2PDF macro is designed to analyze the document structure and output the PDF, complete with bookmarks and correct level hierarchy.

Print2PDF Server Edition now includes the Folder2PDF application that can provide multiple watched folder configurations. Folder2PDF can also run as a Windows Service for background Adobe PDF conversion. This example will show two watched folder configurations: one will be simple conversion to a folder and the other will convert to PDF and send the result by e-mail.
