Print2PDF 8.0 now includes an easily accessible web service. Once the Windows Service has been installed and integrated into Microsoft Internet Information Services, you can call the web service from virtually any programming language that can communicate via HTTP to the server. Unify PDF conversion practices in your organization using the same Print2PDF profiles (e.g. Standard, Archive PDF/A-1a).

The Convert2PDF batch conversion application is included with all Print2PDF products. This application can easily mass convert common office documents (e.g. .DOC, .XLS, etc.) to PDF or post-process existing Adobe PDF files. This tutorial will show you how to do the following in a batch process: stamp, watermark, linearize (fast web view), rotate, encrypt and digitally sign the output PDF files.

Print2PDF Conversion Server can be used to convert e-mail messages and attachments from any POP3 mail account. This example shows how to setup a Google Gmail account to allow a secure SSL POP3 connection, configure the PDF conversion settings to merge all attachments into one Adobe PDF file, and define the e-mail archive folder.

Print2PDF, Print2PDF Server Edition and Print2PDF Conversion Server will convert any Microsoft Word 2000/XP/2003/2007 document into an Adobe PDF/A (ISO standard 19005-1:2005) file preserving the metadata, bookmarks, table of contents and hyperlinks. The included Print2PDF macro is designed to analyze the document structure and output the resulting PDF with the correct level hierarchy.

Print2PDF Server Edition can be configured to distribute customized preferences and profiles to clients. A client can choose to use the printer from a shared printer (Add printer) or through a multi-user environment such as Terminal Services or Citrix Presentation Server (now known as XenApp). This makes it very simple to unify the PDF conversion settings your organization requires. Another benefit to this procedure is to eliminate user error by locking down your PDF creation process.
