2007   The seventh (7th) generation of our popular Print2PDF product line brings support for 64-bit operating systems and the PDF/A archive format. Print2PDF Conversion Server provides automated conversion services from watch folders and POP3 e-mail accounts. Freeware distribution of 602LAN SUITE has ended and the latest version continues to be available as a commercial product only. The new version of 602LAN SUITE 5 Groupware presents a secure messaging solution with web collaboration and SMTP/IMAP/LDAP services with integrated anti-virus & advanced anti-spam protection. A licensing agreement with Bynari provides native Outlook support with synchronization of contacts, tasks, and calendar items. The new version becomes quickly established in the mid-size market as an effective alternative to Microsoft Exchange Server. Software602, Inc. moved to a new office space in Jacksonville Beach, Florida (USA).

2006   Software602, Inc. celebrates a monumental ten-year anniversary. Significant changes in our product offering and company logistics allows better positioning in the B2B market. The new version of Print2PDF 6.0 Server Edition introduced Folder2PDF (watched folders) for automated PDF conversion. With Citrix and Terminal Services support, this product has become very popular in many organizations as a PDF conversion solution for servers and desktops. 602LAN SUITE now includes built-in anti-virus protection with every installation to provide a worry free messaging solution to the fragmented market. Freeware distribution of 602PC SUITE has ended and the latest version continues to be available as a commercial product only. Our 602XML Form technology was introduced, providing a complete solution for collecting XML data through intelligent standard XSL-FO forms.

2005   The new version of Print2PDF 5.0 Server Edition, the most affordable way to implement PDF in an organization, was released. Along with the new 602PRINT PACK and Print2PDF for desktop use, Software602 now offers a complete range of PDF conversion utilities. 602LAN SUITE has continued to grow as the ultimate mail server solution with integrated anti-spam and virus protection. After an enormous success with 602PC SUITE distribution online, this technology is now available in retail stores throughout the USA and Australia. Over 100,000 copies were sold from stores shelves, and more products will be introduced into the retail channel next year.

2004   The new version of our popular 602LAN SUITE software presents a new way to fight unwanted junk e-mail through intelligent Bayesian spam filtering. With the latest addition in the French and Turkish market, 602LAN SUITE is now available in eight languages worldwide. A licensing agreement with PureSight provides real-time web content filtering technology for 602LAN SUITE, so businesses, schools, libraries and other organizations can have a safe online environment with an effective web access policy. The new version of 602PRINT PACK now includes a completely redesigned PDF driver. Our newest product, Print2PDF Server Edition, provides any organization with PDF conversion on all workstations. The new version of the popular 602PC SUITE, Alternative to Microsoft OFFICE, now includes PDF export support and many new features to increase user productivity.

2003   Over one hundred thousand (100,000) servers are connected to the Internet and secured with the built-in firewall and anti-virus protection included in the new version of 602LAN SUITE 2003. 602LAN SUITE is now available in English, German, Italian, Portuguese, Czech and Slovak languages. The new version of the popular 602PC SUITE 4.0 - Alternative to MS OFFICE was released. The newly introduced version of 602PRINT PACK presents easy conversion into PDF, common graphic formats and HTML e-mail. eDock Server - Secure document server with full-text search, image thumbnail generation, easy user management and access from anywhere using a standard web browser is the first worldwide released Software602 product based on 602SQL technology.

2002   Over 2 million users have registered the new version of PC SUITE. PC SUITE continues its journey as an Alternative to MS OFFICE XP. The new PC SUITE Network and Site License was introduced to serve the needs of business users. The new version of the popular 602Pro LAN SUITE was released. This secure e-mail server with anti-virus, spam protection, fax support and controlled Internet sharing is now FREE for 5 users. The newly introduced version of PRINT PACK automates PDF conversion with batch processing and close integration with MS Windows. Localized versions of Software602 applications became available in retail stores worldwide due to republishing agreements. Such agreements were signed for France, Germany, Hungary, Japan and United Kingdom.

2001   More than 1 million users registered the new version of PC SUITE 2001. PC SUITE becomes extremely popular as a FREE Alternative to MS OFFICE and is recognized not only by the computer press, but also by CNN, US Today, Forbes, TechTV and others. Software602 also introduced a new print-to-pdf conversion tool called 602Pro PRINT PACK. Continued successes with Internet marketing and distribution of software online has established new customers and partners based in more then 200 countries worldwide.

2000   Software602 introduced a new product, 602Pro LAN SUITE, which integrates previous servers released into one product. After great success with ESD (Electronic Software Distribution), the company converted all sales into online distribution though the Internet. Software602 now has customers and partners in over 80 countries worldwide. The FREE version of 602Pro PC SUITE 2000 was released. This freeware became POPULAR on C|Net's download.com, received hundreds of positive reviews and became the Alternative to MS OFFICE with its quarter of a million user base.

1999   602Pro MESSAGING SERVER is a complete Unified Messaging package that was selected as "WHAT's HOT" by Information Week. 602Pro SERVER's are "Yes, Tested and Approved by Novell". 602Pro PC SUITE and 602Pro PERSONAL OFFICE SERVER are introduced as ESD (Electronic Software Distribution) only products to the worldwide Internet community.

1998   Software602, Inc. moves to a new office space in downtown Jacksonville. The "Software602 Solution Specialist" network of certified networking engineers covering the US and Canada were established. 602Pro MESSAGING SERVER, 602Pro OFFICE SERVER and 602Web FORUM were brought to the market. 602Pro INTERNET SERVER was given its coveted "recommended" status by the CRN Test Center at Spring COMDEX and Information Week selected it as "WHAT's HOT". 602Pro OFFICE SERVER also earns the "recommended" status from CRN's Test Center at FALL COMDEX. 602Pro INTERNET SERVER LITE was the first Software602 ESD (Electronic Software Distribution) only program offered to the worldwide Internet community.

1997   Software602 introduces the successor of the legendary Text602 onto the market - a full 32-bit word processor titled WinText602. It is the first time a professional fulltext engine for searching documents based on their contents is implemented into a mass distribution word processor. Software602, Inc. starts distribution of 602Pro INTERNET SERVER in the US market. Software602 a.s. signs a contract for software distribution in UK. Software602 a.s., as one of the first Czech firms in the Czech Republic, utilizes the possibility to finance further development through the capital market and increases its basic capital to 50 million Kč by means of an Initial Public Offer (IPO). Software602 a.s. introduces a new family of products on the market built exclusively for 32-bit operating systems - our office packages 602proPC Standard and 602proPC Expert, our communication system Mail602 with the 602Pro INTERNET SERVER, 602proFax, 602proGSM packages and our database system WinBase602 with SQL Servers, for both Novell NetWare and Windows NT, and included applications.

1996   Software602 concludes a contract with Verity, the leading provider of fulltext technologies and implements Verity's technology into its products. The electronic office software, 602proPC is awarded the "Editor's Choice" award by PC Magazine. Software602 releases its first full 32-bit product - the client-server database system WinBase602 including our unique development kit for EDI applications. To distribute its products in English speaking countries, Software602 establishes a subsidiary in the USA - Software602, Inc. Software602 introduces 602Pro INTERNET SERVER on the Czech market - a complete package for connecting company LANs to Internet - the first product localized for the US market. 602Pro INTERNET SERVER is awarded a Crystal disk at the Invex Computer 96 tradeshow in Europe.

1995   Software602 a.s. is established as a general successor to Software602, s.r.o. Software602 does not re-engage the contract on exclusive partnership with Novell (after Novell bought WordPerfect). In fall the company released a new package of products operating under Windows 3.11 and Windows 95. Mr. Richard Kaucký, director of Software602, is awarded the "Personality of the Year of Czech Informatics" prize by Software News magazine.

1994   Software602 establishes a subsidiary firm Editel CZ which focuses on provision of services in the field of electronic data exchange EDI. The public electronic mail system VAN602 operated by Editel CZ is awarded a Crystal disk at Invex Computer 94.

1993   Software602 becomes the largest Novell OEM partner in Central Europe. A branch company, Software602 Slovakia, s.r.o. is opened in Slovakia by Premysl Pech, current president of Software602, Inc. Our database system WinBase602 wins the "Product of the year" award, presented by editors of Software News magazine. At the same time, Software602 provides the first "license" purchase system in Europe on our word processor Text602, WinText602, and our database WinBase602 for all schools in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Together with other companies, Software602 establishes the Czech branch of Business Software Alliance, an organization engaged in the world-wide struggle against illegal usage of software.

1992   Our Electronic mail software Mail602 wins two Crystal disks awarded by the editors of Byte and Computer World magazines at the Invex Computer 92 exhibition. Our spreadsheet Calc602 wins the "Product of the Year" award, presented by the editors of Software News magazine.

1991  Company Software602, s.r.o. is founded by the Text602 authors on the 1st of January 1991. Our Disk Manager M602 software is awarded a Crystal Disc by editors of the PC World magazine at the Invex Computer 91 exhibition.

1989  Three authors (Jaromír Šiška, Richard Kaucký, Martin Šiška) began to distribute the first Czech word processor, Text602, on a commercial basis in Czechoslovakia.
