Create Shared Address Books using the Web Mail Client
Have you ever wanted to create a shared address book so all your users will have the same information? With 602Pro LAN SUITE 2003 (2002.0.03.0212+) it is a snap to exchange contacts between a POP3 e-mail client and the Web Mail Client, then share it to all network users.
Import Addresses into the Web Mail Client
You can import contacts to the Web Mail Client Address Book from any e-mail client that supports export to .CSV files. You can even use data from a contact manager, accounting software or any other resource you may have. Web Mail Client Address Books can be used for private use or as a Shared Public Address Book for all users. To import contacts into the Web Mail Client do the following:
- Log into the Web Mail Clent.
- Click the Address Book icon.
- Click either the Private lists or Public lists button depending on if you want the list to be public or private.
- Click Import under Choose CSV file to import, type the path to the file you wish to import. You may click the Browse button to navigate to the file.
- Type the name of the address book in the Address Book name field and click OK.
- Make sure the columns match up with the appropriate fields and click Import.

NOTE: You must be a LAN SUITE Administrator to add a public list in the Web Mail Client.
Export Addresses from the Web Mail Client
You can easily export Address Books from the Web Mail Client by doing the following:
- Log in to the Web Mail Client.
- Click the Address Book icon.
- Click the 602Pro LAN SUITE users button.
- Click Export and click OK.
- Choose where to save the .CSV file (default file name is AddrList.csv).
NOTE: This procedure will work on public and private lists of Address Books
Import an Address Book into Outlook Express
To Import a Web Mail Client Address Book into Outlook Express do the following:
- Open Outlook Express and click the Address Book icon.
- Click File select Import, and then click Other Address Book.
- Select Text File (Comma Separated Values) and click Import.
- Navigate to the file you would like to import by using the Browse button. Click Next.
- Select the fields you would like to import and click Finish.
