Use 602LAN SUITE to effectively manage your organization’s e-mail
Today, an effective e-mail messaging system provides organized access to all e-mail that flows into and out of an organization. 602LAN SUITE’s unique ability to separate e-mail into virus attachments, and spam, along with a full e-mail archive, gives the administrator all the tools necessary to support the needs of the organization.
Configure the e-mail archive account
By default, 602LAN SUITE does not archive e-mail. Once the changes have been made below, ALL e-mail that is sent AND received through 602LAN SUITE will be copied to the e-mail archive account for later review or retrieval by an administrator. To archive all e-mail to a specific account, do the following:
- Open 602LAN SUITE 2004, and click Settings, then Advanced Configuration.
- Click the Users tab.
- Click the Add button.
- Enter a User Name and Password for the e-mail archive account. For this example we will use the name archive.
- Enable the Copy all incoming and outgoing messages to this user option.
- Click the OK button.
- Click Save to save the changes.

Configure the anti-virus account
By default, 602LAN SUITE will send a notification to the sender/recipient that a virus was found in the e-mail. Once the changes have been made below, ALL e-mail with a virus attachment will be sent to the anti-virus account for review by an administrator. To send all e-mail with a virus attachment to a specific account, do the following:
- Open 602LAN SUITE 2004, and click Settings, then Advanced Configuration.
- Click the Users tab.
- Click the Add button.
- Enter a User Name and Password for the anti-virus account. For this example we will use the name virus.
- Click the OK button.
- Click the Anti-virus tab.
- Enable the Check delivered e-mail messages using 602LAN SUITE anti-virus option.
- Do the next step on both sub-tabs: If incoming message is infected and If outgoing message is infected.
- Enable the option Send to special account and choose the virus user from the list.
- Under this option select Notification with original message body and attachemnt(s).
- Click Save to save the changes.

Configure the anti-spam account
By default, 602LAN SUITE will send spam directly to the user. Once the changes have been made below, ALL spam will be sent to the anti-spam account for review by an administrator. To send all spam to a specific account, do the following:
- Open 602LAN SUITE 2004, and click Settings, then Advanced Configuration.
- Click the Users tab.
- Click the Add button.
- Enter a User Name and Password for the anti-spam account. For this example we will use the name spam.
- Click the OK button.
- Click the Anti-spam tab.
- Enable the Enable Bayesian analysis to check incoming messages option.
- Select the spam user from the Anti-spam account list.
- On the Actions tab, select the Send to Anti-spam account option.
- Click Save to save the changes.
