Software602 Releases New Version of 602PRINT PACK Conversion Utility for Easy and Affordable Creation of PDFs, HTML E-Mail and Graphic Files
Jacksonville, FL - August 3, 2004 - Software602, which is dedicated to providing applications that simplify every-day computing tasks, is shipping the newest version of 602PRINT PACK, its low-cost and easy-to-use conversion tool. The utility lets users create Portable Document Format (PDF) documents, graphics files or optimized HTML e-mail with a single mouse click from any application that can print. Version 4.0 features a completely redesigned PDF driver that offers the latest PDF security options.
The program creates version 1.3 or 1.4 PDF that retain the formatting and appearance of the original and can be viewed using the free Adobe Acrobat Reader. The use of PDFs allow the creator of the document to allow others to view their documents, while retaining control of whether the document is edited, printed, or copied. 602PRINT PACK utilizes standard print output for conversion into an Adobe Acrobat compatible PDF (Portable Document Format) file.
The program allows users to define page size, orientation, stamp, watermark and file resolution. The Stamp feature allows users to brand documents by inserting an image (such as a corporate logo, stamp or signature) directly into PDF. The utility also supports the highest level of security and privacy with 40-bit or 128-bit RC4 encryption and password protection. Users can specify a password for opening and modifying documents. The included Print2PDF print driver supports virtually any application for one-click PDF conversion.
The Convert2PDF batch conversion feature allows for multiple office documents to be converted into the PDF format at once. A variety of file types, including DOC, XLS, PPT, RTF, HTML, TXT, JPG, and GIF, are supported. PDF files created with Convert2PDF retain the original filename to further automate the conversion process.
The Print2Picture capability allows users to output files to almost any common graphic format, including BMP, JPG, PCX, PNG, TIFF and multi-page TIFF. Both color and grayscale are supported. The Automatic Resolution Resizing feature seamlessly transforms output from 640×480 to 1600×1200 screen sizes.
The Print2Mail feature converts documents into an optimized HTML e-mail for quick and efficient delivery. Document content will be transformed into a standard GIF graphic format (96 DPI, 256 colors) and inserted into an HMTL e-mail to provide document visibility regardless of the operating system, language setup and e-mail client software used by the recipient. 602PRINT PACK 4.0 costs $39.95 for a single user license; $79.95 for a three-user license; $399.95 for a 25-user license; or $999.95 for a 100-user license.
