Automatically merge all print jobs to one Adobe PDF without user intervention
Print2PDF can automatically merge output from all print jobs to one Adobe PDF file. This will allow you to configure an archive file (e.g. archive.pdf) and all print output from the Print2PDF printer will be spooled to this one PDF file. This feature is great for archiving e-mail, printing invoices and more.
Print2PDF Configuration
Print2PDF supports interactive merging from the normal Save As dialog. If you would like to setup an archive file and merge all print output to this one PDF file without user input, do the following:
- Launch Print2PDF Configuration from the Print2PDF program group.
- Disable Show the Print2PDF Save Dialog.
- Enable Save PDF to folder and click Choose Folder… and choose the Desktop.
- Enable Default file name and enter archive.pdf for the name.
- Enable Automatically merge and click Edit Merge…
- Select Merge after the last page and uncheck Save a copy of the original file.
- Now click OK to save your settings as default.

NOTE: The above configuration will effect all interactive print processes using Print2PDF.
Print to the Print2PDF printer
Once Print2PDF has been configured, any print job sent to the Print2PDF printer will be written to the archive.pdf file on the Desktop. You can test this by printing a document from Microsoft Word and then printing a spreadsheet from Microsoft Excel.

NOTE: To begin another merge, just rename or remove the archive.pdf file on the Desktop.
View result in Adobe Reader
Open the archive.pdf file in Adobe Reader to view the results:

NOTE: Requires Print2PDF build 6.1.07.0503 or higher.
