Print2PDF allows you to batch convert office document directly to PDF without opening the file in the respective application to print. Print2PDF provides automatic conversion using the Convert2PDF application. Convert2PDF can be used interactively, or through right clicking a file in Windows Explorer.

File types supported by Convert2PDF

Convert2PDF can convert the following file types: AutoCAD DWF (DWF), Microsoft Word (DOC, DOCX), Microsoft Excel (XLS, XLSX), Microsoft PowerPoint (PPT, PPTX), Microsoft Visio (VSD), Microsoft Publisher (PUB), Rich Text Format (RTF), HTML , Text (TXT), Adobe PDF (PDF), JPEG (JPG), GIF, Windows Bitmap (BMP), PNG , TIFF , Windows Metafile (WMF) and Enhanced Metafile (EMF).

Using the Convert2PDF application

The Convert2PDF application can be used to batch convert multiple files and apply any feature available to Print2PDF (e.g. encryption, Digital ID, file attachments). Do the following to launch Convert2PDF:

1. Click Start, then Programs or All Programs.
2. Click the Print2PDF program group, then Convert2PDF.
3. Hold the CTRL key or SHIFT key on the keyboard and left click with the mouse to select multiple files you wish to convert.
4. Configure the conversion options as appropriate.
5. Click Convert to begin conversion.

Using Convert2PDF from Windows Explorer

Convert2PDF can be quickly used through the Windows shell. To convert a file using Convert2PDF from Windows Explorer, do the following:

1. Open Windows Explorer or My Computer and navigate to the file(s) you wish to convert.
2. Left click the file (Hold the CTRL key or SHIFT key on the keyboard to select multiple files).
3. Right click the file.
4. Choose Convert2PDF from the popup menu.

You will see the conversion status dialog box appear while the file is being converted. The PDF document will be placed in the same folder as the original and will have the same name as the original but it will maintain the PDF file extension.
